Bos Ice Tea and Toyota go convergent Featured

 

It’s great to finally see big brands in South Africa engaging in social media to create ambient campaigns.

The digital age is finally here but will it give traditional media a run for its money? We think it might.  If I got a flyer, I would glance at it (if even) and then probably chuck it away. If I engage with a brand and get something for free I am much more likely to remember it and share it with my friends, and the proof is in the pudding as they say, because here I am, sharing.


These two campaigns are seriously cool and this is what happens when social media meets the physical world (aka convergence).
